Colt knows she is a virgin, so he refuses to take her in a shack. He wants it to be more romantic, so they find other ways to find release.Eventually after saving her hey end up making love in the room he is staying in at her mother’s home. Very romantic.(insert sarcasm) He leaves the next day to go back to the life of being a famous rock star with promises to return.The book ends on a happily for now with Colt asking for her hand and the preacher telling them they have to wait six month. The reader is left to make the determination of what happens now.I would have loved to have an epilogue to sum up the story. There were too many loose ends, especially when book 2 in the series is about someone else.

Her mother being pastor of this village, needing to help everyone, insist Colt to be their guest. Instant connection, wll be the result, storm is rating and Sabrina got stuck by the neightbor's shed. Cold, wet to the boned bc of the heavy rain, hurting her ankle, she takes refuge for the night. Being worries, cause Sabrina isn't coming back, her mother sends Colt to rescue Sabrina. When they have to spend the night together in the shelf, seeking for warmth, they have only some blanckets. I've read several books written by C.D. Samuda; she has done a great job at writing a fantastic book; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.I loved the chemistry between the characters.I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.
This was my first book by this writer and I have mixed feelings on the story I just read.While I think it could have been a much more enjoyable book,the storyline is good.This was a good solid story only there are some steps missing.We have a man escaping his life to deal with something and meets a girl.I understand attraction but this is a little of a stretch.I think going back for a rewrite is in order.
Brilliant book. What started with a tragedy in Colt's life ended with him finding peace and love in Jamaica in the most unlikely place. Sabrina a preachers daugther. This story needed to be longer and with less typos. All of those grammatical errors and typos really took away from the story and don't let me start on the rush feeling that it had. It could have been a great read...
